About Us
 The
Trillium Group is a consulting firm based in Reston, Virginia, that
specializes in leadership development, team building, meeting/retreat
facilitation, and trainer development. We partner with a consortium
of professionals to meet our client needs. All of our consultants
have at least 15 years of experience. We carefully match each consultant
skill set to effectively meet client needs.
About Jennifer
Jennifer Whitcomb is the Principal and Founder of The Trillium Group.She
brings to her clients over 15 years of experience working with
senior management representing both private and public sector clients
in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Europe and Asia. She has coached
many leaders to successfully reach goals, enhance working relationships,
and improve team and organizational performance. Jennifer is known
for her caring and enthusiastic ability when consulting with individuals
and groups. Her goal in consulting is to improve human performance
and enhance organizational effectiveness.
Jennifer is a previous
Director of Georgetown University’s
Organization Development Certificate Program. She has helped new
consultants apply and leverage tools and techniques to enhance organization
effectiveness.
Educational Background
Jennifer earned her M.A. degree and Advanced Instructional Design
Certificate from Marymount University. She holds a B.A. in Psychology
from York University and Associates Degree in Social Work from
Seneca College. She has certificates in Organization Development
and Training and Development. She is qualified to administer
the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. She has completed Advanced Coaching
Training from the Coaches Training Institute and is a Professional
Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation.
As a coach
As an executive coach, Jennifer works closely with clients to
jointly develop goals, provide non judgmental support and encouragement,
and manage accountability that will result in desired sustainable
transformation and change.
As a facilitator
Jennifer and other consultants affiliated with The Trillium Group,
use a practical and outcome oriented approach to meet meeting
or retreat goals. Facilitators effectively manage group dynamics
and
achieve results.
As a Train the Trainer practitioner
Jennifer has trained over 3,500 participants in instructional
design and trainer facilitation skills. She has presented
at international
conferences in Canada
and the U.S. on the effective use of adult learning principles. Her design
and facilitation approach is performance-based, and uses
learner centered activities
and experiential techniques that keep participants engaged and maximize
retention.
As Action Learning Coach
As a Certified Action Learning Coach by Mark Marquardt, “author
of Action Learning in Action”, Jennifer has enthusiastically
participated as an action learning coach and has developed and facilitated
action learning coach training. She has developed and implemented
action learning for leadership development in many organizations.
